My clinical experiences have been within settings that include a sexual/reproductive health clinic, a neurological rehabilitation hospital for patients with spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain damage, a substance abuse rehabilitation hospital, a psychiatric hospital, and a transgender care clinic.

I have extensive experience relevant to the developmental issues children and teenagers face; lifespan challenges of adults that include, depression, anxiety, relationship and intimacy issues, career challenges, substance abuse, sexual and gender issues, and optimal aging.

My practice focuses on major transitions in the lives of people experiencing stress and disillusionment. My clients seek better work-life balance, a greater sense of satisfaction from intimate relationships, and support in pursuing their own unrealized dreams. I approach these questions in a direct, interactive manner that draws on 20+ years of experience.

The foundation of my therapeutic approach is humanistic, and my methods include interpersonal psychotherapy models, psychodynamic theory, and cognitive-behavioral psychology. I work well with individuals, both adults and older adolescents, seeking personal growth and change.
